This year we had four year 11 students with us as part of their admission.  We also supported three year 12 students to (re)take Maths and/or English GCSE.  We also had one year 11 GCSE student at Addenbrooke’s who we have reported on separately as although he studied extensively with us, he did not take all of his exams with us.

In accordance with DfE, due to number of students and lack of accurate key stage 2 data, we are exempt from Progress 8 measures (Department of Education, 2019).  DfE recommend that, as a hospital school, our priority should be to ensure that our students achieve those qualifications required to support them to secure education or employment in their next steps.  In order to achieve this, we offer courses and qualifications that are of benefit to the individual student; many of these are included in Progress and Attainment 8.  For the purpose of this report we will include any and all qualifications which are GCSE equivalents, taken by students in year 11 this academic year.

This years full report can be seen here.
